Founded by Russ Naylor and Heddie Chu, NC2 Studio is a San Francisco collaborative design firm with a philanthropic edge. Naylor and Chu created the World Housing Relief Program to foster philanthropic designs such as NEST House and Q-House to provide dignified housing at an affordable cost as well as Bok Modern, a non-welded, 100% recyclable, locally sourced, strong and durable railing at an affordable price.

Russ Naylor
As a licensed architect and contractor, Russ Naylor brings a realistic understanding of the overall development process. He leads NC2 Studio with his design talent and expertise in designing and managing large scale and mixed-use commercial, retail and multi-residential projects. Heddie Chu Heddie has 20 years of experience working with national and international design firms and design institutions. She leads the Interior Design, Graphic Design, Signage Design and Branding studios of NC2 Studio. Heddie began her career in New York City as a designer and an art director for several prominent companies including Georgio Armani, Martha Stewart LIVING Magazine, and J. Walter Thompson Advertising. Internationally, Heddie found sponsors and investors to establish affiliate schools for the Parsons School of Design New York in South Korea and in Malaysia. She leads the marketing side of the program. Heddie’s passion for Communication Design and her experience in the design business supports her leadership in providing clients with creative and realistic solutions. Her partnership with Russ Naylor allows the client to experience a ‘one-stop shop’, where all design solutions are provided- from architecture to branding a property - at NC2 Studio. |
